Generally, the easier to use in practice the better. For this release, it was 
really time-pressure on my side. Moving houses has eaten gobs of my time, 
there's deadlines looming work-wise, and I simply wasn't able to allocate more 
than an hour to doing the release notes.

I think the bottom line here is that I really need to introduce others to the 
release process to help out. For December, I won't even be there (so less odds 
that things get screwed up). Vacation time in the Carribean.
