I just wonder: > Who must/should/could/would coordinate such thing? Our plans for celebrating the 15th birthday of KDE didn't really pan out, did they? But is this a bad thing? I actually liked how it went. We didn't have a central press release, but we had lots of individual blogs, and the press picked up stuff from there. The birthday is kind of a personal thing, and that's what shows. I think the best we did was to actually release exciting software just before the birthday, that's what matters, and it's good to see that we have our priorities right there. What would help is having some building blocks for writing about KDE ready. Screenshots, landing pages for the products, photos and artwork to illustrate our central concepts. That could be more powerful than full-blown press releases, because it would make it easy for people to write their own stuff but using our messaging. -- Cornelius Schumacher <[email protected]> _______________________________________________ This message is from the kde-promo mailing list.
