transcoding ogg to mp3 on-the-fly when burning data CD?

Hi,

first, a big THANK-YOU to the developers, testers, document writers, etc who
have made K3B such a useful application. Nero is finally toast, so to say. I
would even like to see K3B to be available on Windows too, so I could put it
on my company desktop in order to get rid off of the terrible late Nero
incarnations!

My problem: the navigation system/stereo in my car can (unfortunately) only
play MP3 on data CDs. However, I prefer to store my music on my computer in
ogg vorbis format. (I even purchased a small portable Samsung player as it
supports ogg!)

Is there a way to tell K3B to transcode my ogg music files to mp3 format
before burning them to CD? Or do I always have to do this by hand? For your
information: I'm using K3B 1.0.3 on a Feisty Fawn Kubuntu.

Thank you very much for your help,
  Harald
