dcop: k3b crash

Hi,

i am trying to create a data dvd using a shell script and dcop. As it is 
shown on http://k3b.plainblack.com/dcop i use the following code to 
create an empty project:

k3b --datadvd
PROJECT=$(dcop k3b K3bInterface currentProject)

Unfortunately, k3b crashs. Now, if i wait for a little while, it works:

k3b --datadvd
sleep 10
PROJECT=$(dcop k3b K3bInterface currentProject)

Is this a known problem? 
Any good solutions?
