Hi guys, I know there's plenty of topics regarding scanning for drives in k3b but none of them describes my problem. I'm using slackware-current, upgraded recently with kernel 2.6.29.4 compiled by myself. Since upgrade (incl kde and k3b) k3b can't see the drive. I've checked permissions, modules, copiled scsi stuff and still can't find the reason. Cdrecord works perfectly fine where k3b doesn't. I've no option to add the drive manually (via k3b or k3bsetup) and none are visible. Tested it from user account and to prove it's not permission, I've run it as root with same effect. Could someone explain me how k3b scans for drives or how to easily debug at what point it fails?
