I inherited the encryption process (using the java program) as it was written a while ago and is used in several places. The performance issue was handed to me to speed up. I was hoping to find the reason is so much slower on an almost identical partition So that I don't have to open a whole big project for replacing the current process. But I may have to go this route if I don't find a solution. Thanks for your thoughts Jack. -----Original Message----- From: JAVA400-L [mailto:java400-l-bounces-+hD5IHI5Xscn3HwCXmMcX9BPR1lH4CV8@public.gmane.org] On Behalf Of Jack Woehr via JAVA400-L Sent: Wednesday, January 19, 2022 2:34 PM To: Java Programming on and around the IBM i Cc: Jack Woehr; David Gibbs Subject: Re: Java performance qshell javac Does it have to be in Java?
