I have an MI List question.
Why the heck is RSLVDP not part of the C library? I no longer code MI but
use C's MI function and built-in instead. I don't see RSLVDP anywhere
including being exported from the various *SRVPGM's where the rest of the MI
set is exported.

Obviously, there's a trade-off. ROI. Say you spend 8 hours doing something
that can be done with an IBM command right now, but you run it multiple
times per day and the MI solution does it in half the time as the IBM
command. I can see that.

Maybe something's missed in the translation, but your last sentence spells
"creating your own job security ala extortion". If true and is the primary
basis for doing it in MI, it's unethical and most companies would show you
the door in a New York minute. If I misinterpreted, I apologize.
