It is obsoleted since using direct hardware access and BIOS functions,  
that work only in MS-DOS.

Windows is quite different in that aspect, same as Linux and any other  
multitasking OS.

Why not using GUI in Delphi ?

Or why not use Borland Pascal or Virtual Pascal instead of Delphi ?

Try www.torry.ru - You might find components, trying to re-create CRT API  
in windows terminal windows.
But i do not know how table and complete they are.
