and download Walter's project. He lays that out. Once you have the project, 
go to the ReadHeaderInfo function at the bottom of the uoexpress unit. He 
lays it out for you. You seem to have gotten the paper but not his code. 
This should simplify your life.

It runs directly off the Registry to locate the OE DBX files. I need to 
modify it, if I ever get time, to work with DBX files anywhere. The files 
are already sucking up 0.5 GB on my C drive and I want to copy them 
elsewhere or burn CDs but still be able to read them using a modified 
version of his program. Then I would gut the normal files to get my space 
back. If anyone has experience with this I'd like to hear from them as well.
