I reply myself to announce that LuaCheia now has support for "new"=20
modules, thanks to compat-5.1. I have commited changes to CVS some=20
minutes ago after finishing the basic adaptation work and some more=20
testing. Current status:

   - Using lua-5.0.2 + compat-5.1

   - "old" modules can still be loaded with "cheia.load" as before,=20
"new" modules are loaded using "require".

   - No changes were needed to "luacheia_wrapper.c". I changed=20
"luacheia.lua.src" instead so it adds the LuaCheia paths to the=20
variables used by the new "require()" implementation shipped with=20
compat=965.1

   - Migrated the "cgi" module to the new packaging system (hint: use=20
'require("cgi")' instead of 'cheia.load("cgi")' to have it working).

   - Changes Makefiles, so their INCLUDES variable has=20
"-I../../../lua-5.0-proxy" instead of "-I@LUA_SRCDIR@/include". This is=20=

needed because a modified version of "lauxlib.h" is created under the=20
"lua-5.0-proxy" directory (the other Lua headers are copied there,=20
too).


What has to be done:

   - Migrate modules to the new packaging system (I can take care of=20
"shelve", "gd" and "readline" in the following weeks). Volunteers=20
anywhere?

   - Drop support for "cheia.load" as soon as the modules are migrated.
