Well, this is what Portage says:

    moebius@gila moebius $ emerge lua -p

    These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

    Calculating dependencies ...done!
    [ebuild  N    ] dev-lang/lua-5.0.2

...and yes, I'm using Portage (the Gentoo build/package facility) under=20=

MacOS X, and it's being a valuable tool for installing software -- even=20=

better than Fink IMHO. And I find making ebuilds somewhat easier than=20
Fink .info files. Maybe a luacheia ebuild could be interesting?
