can't save configuration on 1.9.1 (Gentoo amd64)

Hi,

I am an happy workrave user, previously on a Debian box. The
debian box died and now I'm on a fresh installed Gentoo box, on which I
can't save any kind of configuration. The ~/.workrave dir is writable
(it can write daily stats). Do you know wth is going on? Where is the
configuration saved?

With the "debug" USE flag I only get this error on startup:

gtkmm: Attempt to call Gtk::manage() on a Gtk::Window, but a
Gtk::Window has no parent container to manage its lifetime

The program appears to run normally, but no configuration saving :'(

GTK version: 2.20.1
gtkmm: 2.20.3
gcc: 4.4.3
