Cannot get BitPim program to "Get Phone data" for SMS on LG env3 phone

I am using BitPim version 1.07

Operating system - Windows Vista

Phone - LG ENV3 VX9200

I am using a USB cable

 

I get the falling error message when trying to get data for SMS. I am able
to get data for call history. Here is error report.
