I've never had problems with Nightlies on OS 9 or OSX to this point.

I downloaded Nightly of Moz 1.6 dated Feb 9 (I belive the same date FireFox was
uploaded) and TBird .5.

The download went without a hitch, not even a slow down in Interarchy in the
download of either.

I dropped the gz file on stuffit expander 8.x.

Then opened the dmg and dragged the icon to the applications menu.

before doing this I removed the working version I had (which was a nightly) of
Moz and Tbird a week previous tp the trash and emptied.

both quit before opening a form of a crash.

restoring copies of the previous versions of each worked fine.

I repeated identical process with last nights version of the nigtlies for Moz
1.6 and TBird .5.

Same results.

These are the only items I have ever had problem installing.

Using OSX.2.8

done all the normal things,

remove cache files (Cocktail)
Repair Permissions (Disk Utilities or Cocktail)
Run Cron Scripts (MacJanitor)

G4 - 500
1.5 Gb System Ram
ATI Radeon Pro 9000
Mitsubishi NX85XLCD (18.1" LCD Monitor) 1280 by 1024 resolution.

Since the firefox dmg downloaded fine, was sucessfully installed, I believe
believe there is defect in the uploads of the Tbird or Moz dmgs.
