Position Responsibilities:

1)  Tax Risk Management (TRM) policy development and execution.
2)  SOX 404 compliance management includes control definition,
documentation and planning for their execution and testing.
3)  FAS 109 Technician skills to properly assess the tax accounting
treatment and related disclosure for a broad range of corporate
transactions.
4)  Tax Balance Sheet Accounts - owns the accuracy of the tax balance
sheet accounts related to payables and deferred taxes.
5)  Tax Reserves  - FIN48/FAS5  responsible for the tax accounting
compliance with key GAAP pronouncements such as FIN48, FAS5, FAS123R,
FIN18, and others.
6)  Primary liaison with the independent attest firm in connection
with their audit examinations.


Education/Experience:
1)  Accounting Degree, Masters in Accounting/Taxation, CPA, other
equivalent accounting and/or Tax qualification.
2)  Eight years Post Qualification tax experience.   Experience in the
following is required:
a)  International experience serving multi-national clients for a ¿Big-
Four¿ accounting firm. and/or,
b)  International experience in the corporate tax department for a
multi-national corporation, headquartered in the U.S.;
3)  Experience in multi-national corporate income tax provisions.    A
knowledge and understanding of US GAAP FAS 109, FIN 18, FAS 5, FIN48.

Specific Technical Skills:

1)  Strong communication skills are required.  This position will
require an ability to effectively communicate, both in writing and
verbally, with international finance personnel as well as other
international business leaders.  The ability to think-on-your-feet is
a must.
2)  Excellent computer skills are required.  The position will require
an ability to use International Compliance Software effectively in
coordination with the company¿s ledger/consolidation software.
