I can drag from a tab to the bookmarks sidebar, the bookmarks button or the bookmarks menu without problems. I can also drag from the icon in the location bar to the bookmarks sidebar/button/menu without problems. Open the Javascript console before carrying out the operation (ensuring that error reporting is active in QuickPrefs -> Javascript settings) and let us know of any errors or warnings.
