I won't reverse engineer it as I've seen the spec so can't claim to have done it without using the spec. But, having sniffed the WMP10 output, it is fairly easy to work out how it works, especially knowing the PTP protocol. > That rules...! What kinds of device info? Battery stats and FW > versions too? AFAIK you can get everything you could get before - certainly I've got battery, device/FW version, disk level, etc. Only exception is I can't get the time - it gives me the not implemented reply. Interestingly the transfer is very quick - peak upload (PC->player) rate is about 55 Mbps, download (player->PC) about 60 Mbps - so about 2x as fast as with PDE.
