This is best asked on the Fedora list: <http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list> However, from memory, you will need to disable the mp3 stub plugin that FC4 included. Go to the XMMS plugins menu, look at input plugins and I suspect you will see two mp3 plugins, from their descriptions it should be clear which one you need to disable. FC4 is quite old now, you may want to try FC6. -- imalone
