Just to set the scene - the CEO rides a Harley, (not as gentleman's

gallon hat and ostrich skin boots. One of his new deputies was a "real"
rodeo rider (bull riding I'm sure, I didn't stick around long enough to
find out). So there are ALL KINDS of folks around who have influence
over IT and its methods.

But in the end, yes it would nice to have those informed, thoughtful
conversation regarding the introduction of new agile methods...but alas
there are many worlds in which they are unlikely to be accepted with
further pain and suffering.
