I am confused as to the scope of your use of the word zealot. Do you mean
industry experts, like Ron, Kent, Uncle Bob, etc.? Or internal zealots
that have are trying to change their organization. Your use of demand is
also confusing for me. How can XP-ers demand or control who C-types listen
to?

I am aware of a number of examples of executive level people that are
greatly influenced by the industry experts I listed.

People in pain or with a problem will listen, those that do not tend not to.
Much more important than who is delivering that message or to what level in
organization is how well that message is aligned the problem perceived by
the audience. Different executives have and perceive that they have
different problems. Start with their problem, if XP (or 6S or whatever) can
help solve it, then that is the language to use.

I think this is your point. I am just restating to see if I am hearing you
right.

Lowell
