Interesting! It sounds like someone should build a more active version
of the rubber duck (http://c2.com/cgi/wiki?RubberDucking). I'm currently
doing some solo work, and I would benefit from a device that wakes up
every ten minutes or so and says things like:

    * Could that be simpler?
    * Are you sure that will work?
    * I think that name could be better.
    * How long has it been since you had a green bar?
    * Where's the test for this?
    * I'm tired! Let's take a break!


Of course, I'd prefer even a pretty junior programmer to pair with, if
only because they'd be less likely to have me carted off.

Ooh! I want to be wise. I'll try to keep in mind that everybody knows
something Ron doesn't.
