Oh, I can't tell you how Glen defines team.  

But, I can tell you that I have seen many senior management groups work as a team.  Usually, the back stabbing and empire building happens at the middle management level.  I have seen them work together well, even during budget time, to help define the company's vision for the future, as well as evaluating where "we" currently stand.  

Unfortunately, I realize that this seems kind of vague and is totally circumstantial.  I will say that the level of teamwork seems to be inversely proportional to the size of the company.  Small company senior management *seems* to be more team-like.  Probably because they have a bigger stake in the company's success or failure.
