Yes, hope my story conveyed that.

I am most successful at helping others when they want my help. Sometimes it
takes spending time together to understand each other. I am least
successful when people for whatever reason, are unable to hear my ideas. It
may be that they were mandated to attend a training or receive coaching, or
it may be that they feel none of the changes I am bringing are in their
best interests. These days I focus on those who want the help and take a
pass on those who are going through the motions to please others.

I long ago discovered that having an answer was about 20% of the effort.
Getting others to agree with that answer is the other 80%.
