I suggest discussing the format in this thread, and scheduling for individual locations in their own threads. ** Format: Todd brought up Open Space, and I think at least part of the day should have that kind of participant-directedness. Todd also mentioned that he has some interactive workshops, which is the kind of thing I was thinking of. In particular, I would like most of the time to either be hands-on (coding, integrating, deploying, etc.) or reflecting directly on what we learned from hands-on activity or how we can improve it. I also want us to share our Best Tricks (either coding, or coaching, or otherwise). ** Programming content: Steve mentioned The Dude's Code Jams, and giving something to the community. My present company has a couple existing projects for not-for-profits that might benefit from contributors; I'll ask about that. Bob Payne is local to DC, and I know he's connected to some not-for-profit projects, as is George[1]. If we're thinking about the programming or XP community, I don't think there's any dearth of ideas for smallish applications that would improve things. (Maybe that deserves a thread of its own?) ** Schedule: This will depend on the location, so I'll start a new thread for DC. Feel free to start threads for your location. =97George On 12/5/19 3:22 PM, George Paci wrote: > Who would be interested in physically getting together for a > substantial period of time (8 hours or a few days) to just plain > practice the way we do XP (and related things) today?
