IPsec to ERL?

Folks,
I've been trying (unsuccessfully) for several days to establish a
VPN connection between IPcop 2.1.9 and a Ubiquity Edge Router Lite.
Has anyone on this list been successful in this?
I've successfully created dozens of VPNs going IPcop to IPcop
I've successfully created a VPN going ERL to ERL
I just can't get the IPcop and ERL to play nice together...
Help?
