--------------------------------------------------- SECURITYFOCUS JOBS - NEW OPPORTUNITY --------------------------------------------------- JOB DESCRIPTION --------------------------------------------------- Position: Security Consultant Location: Bedford Heights, Ohio, United States Type: Permanent F/T Closing Date: 2008-12-11 Profiling and eDiscovery Staff Consultant=0D DESCRIPTION: =0D The Staff Consultant will interface with clients and be responsible for r= unning system scans. =0D =0D RESPONSIBILITIES:=0D =0D • Complete Profiling and e.Discovery to facilitate the implementatio= n of appropriate security measures into SecureState’s systems and pr= oducts. =0D • After the Consultant conducts security assessments, communicate re= commendations to clients in verbal and written format. =0D • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security threats, countermeasures= , security tools and network technologies. =0D • Develop and maintain client relationships to assist the sales proc= ess=0D • Conduct the testing of security plans, products, and control techn= iques. =0D • The consultant in this position will be groomed to be responsible = for external attack and penetration and data forensics.=0D JOB REQUIREMENTS --------------------------------------------------- QUALIFICATIONS:=0D • Approximately 2-4 years of experience in networking. =0D • Must have at least an Associates Degree, preferably a Bachelors in= Computer Science or related discipline=0D • Helpful to have experience with tools such as nessus, nmap, Qualys= , AppScan, WebInspect, phonesweep metasploit=0D • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and projec= t management skills. =0D • Strong judgment and analytical ability. =0D • EXCELLENT written and verbal communication skills.=0D • Ability to work effectively with clients, management, staff member= s, vendors, and consultants. =0D • Must be authorized to work in the United States. =0D Benefits of Working for SecureState:=0D • We provide performance based rewards.=0D • We pay 100% of your healthcare (medical, dental, eye).
