Our client is one of the innovator and market leader of security solution=
s, is building a world-class security research team. They are looking for=
 self-motivated individuals with innovative ideas to identify and develop=
 unique approaches for implementing protective web security measures in a=
 cloud based (a.k.a. “software as a service”) security model. T=
hreats are more dynamic and complex than ever before and traditional secu=
rity approaches no longer suffice. We are moving security from the LAN to=
 the cloud but it will take innovative approaches conceived by brilliant =
minds to get there.=0D

Responsibility:=0D

The Research Scientist will be responsible for identifying and developing=
 unique solutions that leverage the client’s model to protect users =
from emerging Internet threats such as malicious code, 0day exploitation,=
 botnet infections, etc. This requires managing ideas from inception to i=
mplementation including working directly with the Engineering team. Respo=
nsibilities will also include analyzing client’s traffic to proactiv=
ely identify emerging threats, drafting patents and conducting forward th=
inking research initiatives which lead to deliverables such as whitepaper=
s, speaking engagements and media appearances.=0D

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:=0D

    * Required 2 to 10 years of security research experience.=0D
=0D
    * Proven track record of innovative ideas and an ability to implement=
 them.=0D
=0D
    * Strong understanding of HTTP protocol and web application security.=
=0D
=0D
    * Solid C programming skills, with comfort in other languages such as=
 C#, Perl, PHP, etc.=0D
=0D
Preferred:=0D
=0D
    * Reverse engineering experience.=0D
=0D
    * Vulnerability discovery and exploit development skills.=0D
=0D
    * Experience with network security technologies such as intrusion det=
ection/prevention systems and firewalls.=0D
=0D
    * Publication of past research and/or speaking engagements.=0D
=0D
Education Requirements:=0D

The candidate  must  have  an Engineering   degree, preferably  in Comput=
er Science. Candidates with Masters degree or Ph.D will be given preferen=
ce. =0D
