The IT Disaster Recovery Business Systems Delivery Manager is responsible=
 for=0D
the management and direction of the complete life-cycle of the IT Disaste=
r=0D
Recovery strategy and execution of the plan including the hardware, softw=
are,=0D
services and processes comprising IT Disaster Recovery plans and operatio=
ns.=0D
This life-cycle establishes product direction, development, ongoing enhan=
cements=0D
and eventual retirement/replacement, while developing, testing, and maint=
aining=0D
the necessary processes and standards associated with the IT DR=0D
strategy.=0D
=0D
RESPONSIBILITIES:=0D
The functions include (but are not=0D
limited to) development, implementation, management and communication of=0D
information technology DR strategies, analysis and plans that support and=
=0D
enhance business productivity and profitability.=0D
Provides thought leadership to DR management efforts.=0D
Provides strategic direction, consulting and recommendations to senior=0D
management for future direction.=0D
Provides leadership and subject matter expertise in support of functional=
=0D
efforts to implement DR solutions utilizing respective IT products.=0D
Conducts tests to ensure that recovery procedures and strategies are=0D
effective. Assesses damage, following a disaster, to computer hardware, v=
ital=0D
records, etc., to determine what can be salvaged or restored and what mus=
t be=0D
replaced.=0D
Negotiates to acquire funding and leverage opportunities.=0D
Defines and supervises research and analysis on new product and technolog=
y=0D
offerings.=0D
Monitors products and new technologies and recommends strategy changes as=
=0D
needed to meet company objectives.=0D
Determines direction, DR strategy and future DR plans based on knowledge =
of=0D
industry.=0D
Partners with senior management to establish product strategy to meet=0D
Enterprise goals.=0D
Provides leadership, vision and direction to the technical and business=0D
managers responsible for AAA’s individual tactical DR areas and plan=
s.=0D
Working with people from all areas of AAA, vendors and trading partners,=0D
contributes to developing solutions and serves as an advisor and consulta=
nt on=0D
technology trends, issues, opportunities and best practices.=0D
Makes recommendations to business stakeholders on technology opportunitie=
s=0D
and provides the means to implement them within considerations for priori=
ty and=0D
available budgets and resources.=0D
Ensures alignment with corporate and line of business goals and objective=
s.=0D
Leads and manages multiple Manager-led teams and ensures the high perform=
ance=0D
and productivity of those teams.=0D
Collects and processes data to understand and track IT expense by busines=
s=0D
area.=0D
Ensures the adequacy, optimization and reliability of IT DR products and=0D
services that support the line of business goals.=0D
Works directly and through matrix management with leaders and members fro=
m=0D
other IT Departments in order to coordinate technology services and produ=
cts=0D
that enhance the delivery and implementation of the DR strategy.=0D
Manages internal and external resources to complete the projects within=0D
time, quality and budget expectations.=0D
Responsible for concurrent management of several large programs and=0D
projects, and their coordination with other initiatives within the Enterp=
rise=0D
and each other.=0D
Utilizes processes, metrics and reporting tools that benefit the customer=
=0D
and ensure project goals and internal/external customer expectations are =
met or=0D
exceeded.=0D

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:=0D
5-7 years experience in managing information technology systems and DR pr=
ojects and DR tests for a large IT department.=0D
Extensive experience in communicating with executive and operational mana=
gement.=0D
BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business required. MBA or othe=
r=0D
advanced degree preferred.=0D
5-7 years experience in the acquisition and management of technology and=0D
technology professionals.=0D
Proven track record of delivering results.=0D
Large-scale project or program management experience required.=0D
Excellent project management, consulting, negotiation and customer servic=
e=0D
skills.=0D
Excellent MS Office and MS Project software skills are required.Strong=0D
interpersonal skills.=0D
