With Ethermet and serial, etc it is possible to just cross connect TX
to RX between endpoints, with PSTN equipment this is not the case, see
FXO and FXS here

Your router _might_ have the capability of running as an ATA
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Analog_telephone_adapter which could
then be connected to a VoIP PaBX, or a a basic PaBX/VoIP gateway that
you could then "dial" from Hylafax, however this is dependant on the
router, not the FAX machine. If the router only hasa single PSTN port,
then it might not be suitable.

Bearing in mind that your "printing" would be limited to fax
resolution, and you printing path would have many parts, I would
suggest that unless you have a specific requirement to use the device
as a printer, that you would be better off getting a printer that can
connect directly to your network or PC.
