Dirtying the file in Word (add and delete a space) and saving it allows Panther TextEdit to read the file properly, though. I've stared at the rtf code in vi, but Word puts so much extra garbage in there, I don't know what to look at. If I look at latex2rtf/test/fonts.rtf in TextEdit, some of the bold/italic commands work, and some don't. All of the text is sans serif, though; once again, dirtying/saving in Word allows TextEdit to read the file with no problems. If a PDF file of the TextEdit view would help, I can send one. I notice this because I'm working to add RTF preview/export to BibDesk <http://bibdesk.sourceforge.net/>, using latex2rtf. Drawing an NSAttributedString in a text view only gets some of the formatting, and I see the same problem with TextEdit. -- Adam ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
