I had used that, and also the Fetch app <https://fetchsoftworks.com/>: both were giving a timeout. For example with Fetch for

ftp://ftp.math.utah.edu/pub/tex/historic/systems/texlive/2025/tlnet-final/



I’m happy to say that both are working now. Here’s what I get (Finder top, Fetch bottom):
