"Masters" in economics all have a talent to "improve" things! ;-)
I agree with Ulrike, most english newsgroups are horrible to read.
200 lines of quote with one added line. Top-posting looks like a 
solution for that. In the end this quoting style is just a waste of time 
for the reader. Of course, it saves time for the writer. Saving one 
minute at writing means wasting hundreds of minutes at reading. Business 
people must love that optimisation algorithm.

crippled software -> crippled quoting style! ;-)

Not really! Experienced users will edit the tags. Usually within minutes!
