If you are the only one using miktex than maintenance is easier if
you install it as single user from your account in a folder outside
the standard program folder. My miktex is in D:\miktex2.9.

Enter in the search window in your start menu "settings" or "update"
or "package" and look if something with the miktex logo appears. If
not search in the miktex/bin folder for mo.exe/mo_admin.exe and
mpm_mfc.exe/mpm_mfc_admin.exe.

Well I don't know about music processing (and without examples I
won't test) but pmxab.exe is part part of miktex and so I wonder why
you have it in a folder "localmiktex". Where does this name came
from? Is all your miktex in C\Programs\Miktex29\localmiktex?
