Package manager? I used (as usual) the update tool (miktex-update.exe)
to do my update, first automatically, and later again after the manual
update approach by unpacking miktex-mpmcli-bin-x64-2.9 and then using
miktex-update.exe to update all remaining packages.

I did not do so on my installation. Is that necessary?

At the moment I am hesitating a little bit to touch my running version
(dated 2015-06-17), because with all the various mails (for example that
ones talking about msvcp120.dll (which I have in ..\bin\x64)) I have no
more clue where to touch what why.
