Check/Change MikTex Installation directory

I'm about to do re-installation of my system and I wanted to know how I can
check my package install directory and change its location. Will this also
automatically move currently installed packages and can I just manually
move those files to said new directory then rebind the new MikTex to the
same directory? Thank you
