Use the \overlays (in stead of \step) command if you want the pictures
over each other - see section 3.6 of the manual. The problem with page
breaks is not really a texpower problem. Try to decrease (half) the figure
size to verify that the page size is the problem. If you want less margins
in your foils presentation I have a macro for adjusting it...
