Attached to this mail you'll find "foils-margin.sty" (assuming the
mailing list doesn't strip it off) which defines a macro
\setup - usage see example below:

---
\documentclass[a4paper,headrule,footrule]{foils}
\usepackage{foils-margin}
\setup{margin=1cm}
\leftheader{Left}
\rightheader{Right}
\begin{document}
\foilhead{test \hfill test}
\vfill
\noindent left bottom \hfill right bottom
\newpage
\rotatefoilhead{test \hfill test}
\vfill
\noindent left bottom \hfill right bottom
\end{document}
---

The default margin in "foils-margin.sty" is 1 inch.

NB! "foils-margin.sty" needs "ifpdf.sty" - get it from
    http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/oberdiek/
    if you don't have it already.

NB! If you change any of the foils lengths please do it before you load
    "foils-margin.sty".

Well, if you want examples you should look at the fulldemo. Unfortunately
there are no example with \overlay in the full demo either since the
command is more recent than the demo...

Hans
