I would doubt it - but maybe the only one having upgraded to CentOS 5
from Fedora 5 which may have left some TZ oddities.

And don't apologise :) - I'm interested in finding out what the
underlying issue is but I've been busy for the last few days. Thanks
also for providing the debug output from your grabber runs. There have
been bug reports of bad DST handling in other grabbers, but yours is
the only uk_rt report I remember seeing over the last few weeks (so I
would default to a local system config issue, rather than a more
general DM/XMLTV issue). But saying that...

Current Date::Manip on CPAN is at 6.22, with 5.62 available in the
current DM6 release for users needing DM5 support. All XMLTV users
were/are encouraged to use as recent a 6.xx version as possible (if
their distro is shipping 6.xx versions), due to the timezone bugs in
the earlier 6.0x releases. These issues reared their head exactly a
year ago on the XMLTV lists). I think 6.07 was the first fixed
release, but I'd always use a later version - which you seem to be.

Which Perl release are you running on your CentOS machines?

DM6 is the default if running Perl 5.10+ (but can be overriden),
earlier Perls can only use 5.xx support even if DM6 is installed.
Date::Manip 6.xx provides a DM5 functional interface but defaults to
using the newer DM6 interface unless a particular env variable
(DATE_MANIP) is set. One can also force DM5 to be used if the code
specifically asks for it, but XMLTV doesn't do this. As you have
DM6.xx installed but DM5 seems to be being used, I would check your
Perl version and also your CentOS env vars to see whether the
"DATE_MANIP" var is being set to use DM5.

I'll try to do some more testing with the current release in the next
day or so, but when I tested last year with both DM5 and DM6 (on
Fedora and Debian) after the bad 6.0x release I didn't see any issues.
My embedded MythTV system still runs a DM5.xx release and Perl 5.8.6
until I update it (when I hopefully have some time in a month or so).
