This bug is not severe enought because I think it's possible to enter
forward slashes instead and make the command working, but it would be good
to have the solution of course ;)

I have seen some changes the TortoiseCVS guys have made in their adjustments
to protocol and I wonder whether they were solving the same issue. I will
take a closer look when I will prepare to relase updated cvsgui protocol
version.

Using CppUnit seems to be a little bit too heavy as we don't have too many
things that can use it. In the command line parsing there is also additional
problem that the final command line will be additionally interpreted by the
OS and run correctly. That makes it difficult to write unit tests - you have
to actually execute command to be sure it works :(

Anyhow, let me think about that for some time. You can upload the CppUnit
patch to the original issue at SF and we will come back to this in a few
feeks (or months, or years...) ;)
