Well, there's no real reason to disallow Erase on folders (and I 
actually miss that quire regularly) but Remove on folders is not 
supported as such by CVS. You would have to remove all files 
(recursively) in order to perform a versioned folder remove. I 
understand that TortoiseCVS is doing just that...
