I recently fdisked my partition and reinstalled XP.
I have Modules checked out from BEFORE the fdisk on a separate partition.
If I try to Update these modules I receive
'Authentication protocol rejected access'
Checking out NEW modules works OK.
I have tried Left-clicking on module, Admin->Logout, then logging in
again (as suggested on this forum) but that doesn't work either.
Is WinCVS attempting to pick up the CVS password in the registry
somewhere? (that no longer exists)
Is it possible to forcibly write the password back into the registry?
Note: I could just check out the entire module again but I don't wish
to do that.
