Hello Torsten,

Thanks for the quick response. As you can see in my response to Arthur I will look into obtaining a version of Tortoise that's compiled with the MARCH_HARE_BUILD set. A small suggestion for a future release, if the check out read-only option only applies to MARCH HARE builds could it be hidden in other builds? Apart from my issue with CVS WATCH, Tortoise CVS is working very well, definitely my preferred client, very easy to use - thanks to you and the other developers for your efforts.

Thanks
Mike C

Hello

VISTA Enterprise Edition SP1
TortoiseCVS version: 1.10.10
CVS client version: Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 2.5.03 (Scorpio) Build 2382
CVS server version: Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 2.5.04 (Zen) Build 3236 ()
SSH client version: TortoisePlink Release 0.56

I am experimenting TortoiseCVS, creating modules with the "Checkout read-only" option ticked.
That option is only available if you #define MARCH_HARE_BUILD when compiling TortoiseCVS, and support for this feature is therefore only available from March Hare.
