Yes.

It is frustrating that google doesn't search sourceforge viewvc
properly, otherwise it'd be a very simple matter to find. Yes it is in
the code, if you know where to look:
http://tortoisecvs.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/tortoisecvs/TortoiseCVS/sr
c/TortoiseShell/QueryInfo.cpp?revision=1.16&view=markup

It looks like it doesn't show if it is a 'disabled path' - if you are
looking at a network/removable drive then enable the 'Allow Network
Drives' and/or 'Allow Removable Drives' preferences, or if the directory
is in 'Excluded Directories' then remove it or if you have a list of
'Included Directories' then add it...

The code for 'isdisabledpath' is here:
http://tortoisecvs.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/tortoisecvs/TortoiseCVS/sr
c/CVSGlue/CVSStatus.cpp?revision=1.178&view=markup

It looks like the same rules that apply for overlays apply for the
status/tip - so if you can see the overlay then you should see the
status/tip.
