RC6 installs CVSNT 2.5.05. CVSNT 2.5.03 has a major security issue, so
do not use it please:
http://march-hare.com/cvspro/vuln.htm

Please uninstall TCVS and CVSNT then re-install only TortoiseCVS using
the Administrator account and this should fix it.

Please advise the mailing list what you had installed BEFORE you
installed 1.12.1 RC6. eg: did you have CVSNT 2.5.03 already installed?

At the bottom of the page is a note (abbrev.):

"We will continue to supply 'client only' installers to other F&OSS
projects by private distribution channels which they are able to
redistribute under the terms of the GPL."
