I am coming to a point where I notice panels getting miss-ordered when rendering. My file is, I suppose, possibily larger than most (45 M file, 140000 elements, 5400 emitters) and quite complex, but even if I make a sub-file with only a small part of the objects, less than 700 K file, I still have the problem of some panels that should be hidden jumping ahead of others that are just in front of them. This behavior cannot be seen on the 3D views, and only becomes apparent while rendering. Owing to the complexity of my scene, rendering takes about an hour, so it is quite unsettling when the final result comes out marred by such details. I presume that there must be some rounding off errors, as a small rotation of the object, or moving it somewhere else, will displace the problem (some hidden panels that were erroneously shown will disappear, but other will appear that should not be seen). Is there something that can be done, short of moving everything so close to the camera so that I loose all the perspective that makes my scene good? CBVG ------------------------ Yahoo!
