Thanks for all of the help you guys have given me.  I am presently working
through both the Noob to Pro and the Blender Documentation Volume I
tutorials.  Hopefully I'll be able to figure out all of my outer noob
questions through those tuts.  I have also ordered The Official
Blender 2.3Guide: Free 3D Creation Suite for Modeling, Animation, and
Renderingfrom
amazon.com.  Hopefully the differences between 2.3 and 2.41 aren't that
great.
