Not sure if it is wotrth it. What got me as that the 5 year old machine was the one with the problem, while he 7 month old computer had no trouble with "gif" (and they both have Blender 2.42). I converted the gif to png, but I will have to reassign all the texture look-up so that the right file name is called henceforth. I was more surprised to simply see a format disappear from the list of those that woked fine until now. CBVG ------------------------ Yahoo!
