OK --- finally found the warp tool hidden among the transform popup menus for edit. Now the major problem is that it reverses my text when I warp - regardless of which side I plant the 3D cursor. This is getting aggravating !! Thanks to anyone who has figured this all out and can give me a hint. -- Bill
