Excellent! Thank you for that link... I know there is a lot of stuff out there, sometimes I just don't know where to look.

My next question is, When you do a shape key, on an eye for example... The eyelid forms around the eye and moves in a circular motion to conform to the eye. Would a shape key be able to do a radius or a point A to point B linear movement?

The answer is shape key. Here's a good tutorial to help you out.

Just follow that tutorial so you get down with the basics. As for me I

do need to practice on something without the tutorial.

> OK,

>

> This will be (I think) my first official post.

>

> I am learning the basics, and I am trying to create a muppet in 3d.

>

> I have the modeling down, my question is, and picture this....

>

> If you have a ball, with a wedge removed for the mouth, how do you

> work the mesh so that I can open and close the mouth? what do I have

> to do to make this work?

>

> Thanks,

>
