Kai-Uwe, CinePaint opens by default with a dialog message that CM doesn't work. It might seem like a feature to some, but I'm defining that annoyance to be a bug. New users don't expect to be confronted with an error message after a successful installation. The normal way for users to work around that annoyance is to go into preferences and turn it off. If that's the standard approach, it should be off by default. It's your code. Is there a better solution? Also see: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cinepaint/+bug/138015 Regarding your questions about my bug trackers, anyone working on a specific bug can ask me for details as needed. Disabling floating point or the flipbook are not under consideration.
